Retired and Honorary Members
Retired members of the AAGBI are entitled to a 50% discount. Honorary members are entitled to free registration (Please contact the events team directly to arrange this).

Medical Students
A one-day fee of £55 is available for medical students who are AAGBI members. This is not bookable online, please call the events team on 0207 631 8844 to register at this rate.

Workshops
Delegates wishing to attend any of these sessions will be required to pay a  fee in addition to the conference registration fee. This fee will depend on which workshop you attend, please visit the workshops section of this website to see the fees.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests received before 25 August 2017 will receive a full refund minus a £25 administration fee.

On-site Registration
If you are unable to register in advance, you may register on-site. Please make your way to the registration area which will be open from 08:30 on Wednesday 27 September 2017.

Data Protection
The name, hospital and location you provide during the booking process will be used on the delegate list and on the attendee list of the conference app. If you do not wish for this information to be included please let us know by emailing events@aagbi.org

Electronic Badging
At this event your badge will contain a barcode, this will be scanned on entry so that the Association of Anaesthetists can report on the attendance for each day, the data is kept by the association and NOT divulged to any other parties at any time.

The exhibitors will have the opportunity to hire scanners for data capture, they will only have access to your email and hospital name. If you do not want the exhibitor to scan your badge you can decline their offer.

CPD/Certificates
This meeting has been recognised by the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) for 5 CPD points
per day. Your CPD certificate will be available to download post conference from your log in, on the AAGBI website:  

  • Log in, using your membership / non member number and password
  • In the blue, left hand menu, click ‘View my AAGBI CPD’
  • Find ‘Meeting name and date’, click ‘Print certificate’

If you do not know your password, you can enter your email address and membership number, and this will be emailed back to you. If you do not know your membership number, please email members@aagbi.org.
If you believe your certificate is incorrect, please email events@aagbi.org.

European & USA Accreditation
The Annual Congress 2017, Liverpool, United Kingdom, 27/09/2017-29/09/2017 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with15 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American
Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA
Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be
found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
